The Hellenic News of America was established in 1987 as a service put together by an independent team of Greek Americans who recognized the need for a high quality publication targeting the Greek American community nationwide.

The Hellenic News of America is the only bilingual Greek American publication. It offers an informative view of Greek American activities throughout the United States and presents its readers with news and commentary on issues involving Greece.

We feature internationally renown writers, journalists, university professors, priests, and politicians. Some of them are; Gilda Morigi, Dr. Dean C. In 1993 the Hellenic News of America went on to further establish, the Hermes Expo, an annual Greek American trade show and exhibition. Hermes Expo has been overwhelmingly welcomed by the Greek American community, and has already become an indispensable part of the Greek American Business World.

Written in an pleasant, easily readable format, the Hellenic News has among its readers, thousands of Greek American professionals and business people, Legislators, US Senators and Congress Representatives, Governors and Mayors, throughout the country.

The Largest Mailed Subscription Greek American Newspaper
Our growing mailing list of subscribers and friends includes more than 5,600 businesses. A total of 11,000 copies of each issue are being distributed every month, throughout the United States, but mainly in the East Coast. While the Greater Delaware Valley target market consists of approximately 110,000 Greek Americans, the total target market -all over the country- consists of an impressive figure of more than two and a half million Greek Americans.

A Tradition Since 1987
Collectively and individually, the readers of the Hellenic News are active and influential members of the Greek American community, and they are proud of their heritage. They care about themselves, their fitness, their health, leisure and clothing, and they care about others. More than 70% of our readers support one or more local Greek organizations in their communities. Education is high on their list of important community activities deserving support. As consumers, they are both loyal and mobile, often travelling between the states of Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania Virginia, District of Columbia, Chicago & Florida in order to buy from some merchant or to enjoy some leisure time.
