Interview with Lisa Matassa: Long Island country music singer

By: Markos Papadatos

Long Island-based country singer Lisa Matassa sat down and chatted in-person with Greek-American journalist Markos Papadatos about her critically-acclaimed new EP “Somebody’s Baby” and its title cut single.

“The EP is doing great and I am happy about that. You want to make sure that there is a connection with your audience and that your listener is connecting with your music. You want people to like you and you want to love what you do,” she said. “What you see is what you get with me. I am so appreciative of the fans and the support that I have been getting from them. It’s amazing how loyal the country fans are and I want my fans to know that I am always accessible to them so I always stay in touch with them via my Facebook and Twitter pages.”
