Exercise's effect on the brain

Today's article will be explaining the huge benefit that exercise has on the brain! The vast benefits of exercise are already published but there is one major benefit that doesn't get talked about or researched enough and that's exercise's effect on the brain. Research has suggested that exercise has a positive impact on the brain by stimulating the creation of new brain cells in addition to increasing the amount of grey and white matter in the hypothalmus which aids in improved cognitive performance. In other words, exercise can improve productivity, memory, and the over all thought process. 

What exercise does is change the structure of the brain. With the brain's new structure, that directly effects the brain's cognitive functioning. In an analysis constructed by me on this subject, my research found that only specific types of exercise cause the above positive benefits on the brain. Evidence based research have shown that anaerobic exercises such as lifting weights and plyometrics do not increase cognitive performance. The same goes for stretching exercises. To reap exercise's benefits on the brain, one must perform aerobic exercises such as running, jogging, and biking. Engage in 30-45 minutes of aerobic exercise daily to reap the cognitive benefits that aerobic exercise provides!
