By Catherine Tsounis

April 1st, Tuesday was a unique moment in the 23rd Hermes International Expo at the Best Western Hotel of the Concordville Inn, in Concordville, Pennsylvania. “Besides exhibits, we focused on quality,” said Paul Kotrotsios, MBA, Founder & President of Hermes Expo International & the Hellenic News of America. “Everyone had time to talk on a one to one basis. We had time to communicate with supporters, sponsors, exhibitors and visitors. It was all there: educational seminars, exceptional speakers, special offers by the exhibitors, b2b meetings, reception, networking opportunities, awards dinner and entertainment.”

Hellenic American National Council Meeting in the Nation's Capital

Washington, D.C. - March 8th, 2014 - Two very important issues were discussed during the Hellenic American National Council meeting in the nation's capital last weekend under the coordination of HANC President Mr. Paul Kotrotsios. The "PAIDEIA" issue was high on the agenda given the extremely dangerous situation in Rhode Island with the threat of the demolition of buildings used for Greek education purposes. HANC President Mr. Paul Kotrotsios along with Mr. Elias Tomazos asked for the Greek-American community's help as well as the help of the local Rhode Island community in order to avoid this unfortunate predicament. The business meetings were also attended by retired Senator Paul Sarbanes of Maryland who was an honorary guest. Representatives of the Pan Laconian Federation Mr. Chios and Mr. Marafatsos promised to help the "PAIDEIA" project in Rhode Island.
