April 1st, Tuesday was a unique moment in the 23rd Hermes International Expo at the Best Western Hotel of the Concordville Inn, in Concordville, Pennsylvania. “Besides exhibits, we focused on quality,” said Paul Kotrotsios, MBA, Founder & President of Hermes Expo International & the Hellenic News of America. “Everyone had time to talk on a one to one basis. We had time to communicate with supporters, sponsors, exhibitors and visitors. It was all there: educational seminars, exceptional speakers, special offers by the exhibitors, b2b meetings, reception, networking opportunities, awards dinner and entertainment.”
“The 23rd Hermes Expo International Expo focused on the Hospitality Industry,” said Mr. Paul Kotrotsios, Greek hospitality is legendary. “The Modern Greek Hospitality Industry has supported Hermes International Expo through the years. We bring the Premier Greek American Trade Show and Exhibition Conference, Hermes Expo, to the Greater Philadelphia Area. Focus was on deals for Restaurateurs and buyers, Distributors and Manufacturers.” The 23rd Hermes Expo continued on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at the Concordville Inn.
Proprietors Mr. and Mrs. Hionis were honored for their support of the Hermes International Expo at the April 1st Gala. Excellent food was served during the day by Mr. and Mrs. Hionis staff, and the numerous vendors of the Hospitality Industry. Under the proprietorship of the Hionis family, the Concordville Inn has become the landmark cornerstone of a dining and lodging establishment that now includes the Best Western Concordville Hotel and Conference Center.
The April 1st program included: 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM; Hermes Expo’s Business Seminar: “Eurozone Crisis and the Greek crisis: How Does It Affect Tourism on Both Sides of the Atlantic, especially our Mid-Atlantic States”, Opening Remarks by The Honorable Aris Melissaratos, Honored Chair of the Business Committee, Les Vail, President of the Gloucester Chamber of Commerce, Dr. George Tsetsekos, former Dean of LeBow College of Business at Drexel University, Marion J. Civera, Jr., Vice Chairman Delaware County.
From 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM: Welcoming Networking Luncheon and Grand Opening Sponsored by Dining Alliance, Altas and Brandywine Valley Restaurant Association and PFG, Performance FoodService (Fontanini foods); MC : BASILE ,The Renown Greek Comedian, introducing new ideas & new products to the American Market.
In the afternoon, Booth Exhibits targeted the Restaurant and Hospitality Industry. Food show & presentations, Networking & Business to Business meetings (B2B). featuring booths from previous exhibitors, sponsors and pillars of the Hermes Expo and new sector targeting the restaurant and hospitality industry and beyond. Sectors included: Travel & Tourism, Banking & Finance, Insurance, Law Offices, Marbles & Granites and more... Special presentation by the Breast Cancer Coalition and the Hellenic Relief Foundation.
