By: Markos Papadatos

Kyle Efthemes is one of the eight performers that will be a part of "Men of the Strip," the male revue that is hosted by Jeff Timmons from 98 Degrees. He chatted via telephone with Greek-American journalist Markos Papadatos.

Esteemed choreographer Glenn Douglas Packard is its creative director. Kyle Efthemes' hometown is Chesapeake, Virginia.

On his "Men of The Strip" experience, Kyle remarked, "I am absolutely ecstatic. I came into this opportunity leaving the Chippendales and to jump right into something like this is huge. I am stoked to be a part of this project and we are all working really hard. We live, breathe and sleep 'Men of The Strip' right now."

Efthemes revealed that he is of Greek descent. "My real last name was Efthemeopulas. The Irish really takes over the Greek part of my skin tone, but I have a pretty Greek nose but that's about it honestly," he said with a laugh. "I have tried for a really long time to find out about my heritage, but the most information that I was really able to find out are some recipes for 'spanakopita,' 'baklava' and 'pastichio.' I eat things in moderation. I do things really small and consistently."

Interview: Hayley Williams from Paramore talks new album and tour

By: Markos Papadatos

On Aug. 7, Hayley Williams, the lead singer from the acclaimed rock band Paramore, chatted with Greek-American journalist Markos Papadatos about their latest studio album and forthcoming headlining tour.

On the album’s song selection process, Hayley remarked, “We wrote more for this album than we've written for any other one prior to it. The crazy part was we were completely in love with all of the songs. So we had to go about it like, ‘what could we maybe live without’ versus ‘which songs are good enough.’ I think it was a good sort of problem to have. In the end, we left two off the album and released those as B-sides and then there are still a couple other demos floating around somewhere.”
