Re: Your letter to the Editor of Hellenic News of America (Dec.1, 2005) (01/19/06)
1-18-2006

Dear all:

The Publisher of Hellenic News of America, the very capable Mr. Pavlos Kotrotsios has send me the attached extraordinary letter from Mr. Bradford Furman of Fort Lee N.J., for an answer. Attached you will find both the said letter and my answer to it.
Mr. Furman is dancing precariously around Iraq, the Kurds, the refusal of Turkey to permit American troops to pass through its territory, the invasion of Turkish troops into Cyprus e.t.c. He appears to be an apologist for Turkish aggression and provides peculiar and twisted explanations of events.

In my view letters that are inaccurate and unobjective should be answered by providing evidence and opinions of other writers in addition to that of the responder. In other words our task is to educate, to illuminate and to correct misconceptions on issues of our serious concern. (please use PDF for retrieving the Letter send by Mr.Furman). Thank you and keep well.

Best Wishes,

Michael C. Geokas,M.D.,M.Sc.,Ph.D.(McGill).
