While his question is very valid and appropriate to ask at this time, I¢m delighted to report that we have found a Great Hellene at the recent book signing event, sponsored by Alex and Dora Hionis at the Concordville Inn, under the auspices of the Hellenic News of America. Mr. Aris Melissaratos, a very accomplished business technologist, just published the book INNOVATION-The Key to Prosperity, co-authored with N.J. Slabbert. I started reading the book and I really was absorbed by it. The man has grasped what has happened to America and has sensible and concrete ideas about what we must do as a nation to re-earn US leadership in innovation and business. The setting in this book is global, but the leadership and hegemony has to be American. Indeed, a logical approach with much emotional energy, which can be doable, if we choose so. Melissaratos¢ vision will provide sufficiency in energy, new modes of transportation, cleaner environment, superb Paedeia, will liberate the nation from being captive to the Middle East for energy supply, and many other good ideas. The book is superb and I recommend it highly. Thank you to you and the entire Alexander Hionis family for sponsoring the book signing event and bringing this treasure to our attention. The author¢s summarized autobiography, his Hellenic roots and education are part of the book as well; they add to the interest in reading the book. Melissaratos is a Great Hellene and a Great American. I sincerely hope that President Obama and Vice President Biden will soon tap him for a National leadership position; to help the nation rise from the ashes like a Hellenic Phoenix.
