LET US ALL COME TOGETHER
AND CELEBRATE !!!
THE GREEK INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE
IS COMING !!!
We are happy to announce that the Maryland Greek Independence Day Parade Committee has
been established with the blessings of his Eminence Metropolitan Evangelos of the Metropolis
of New Jersey.
This dynamic committee is comprised of volunteers dedicated to making the 2010 Greek
Independence Day Parade a joyous and an exciting event. The Committee Board consists of five
Greek Orthodox Churches in Maryland. The churches are:
 Cathedral of the Annunciation, Baltimore, Maryland
 Saint Demetrios Church, Cub Hill, Maryland
 Saints Mary Magdalene and Markella Church, Darlington, Maryland
 Saint Nicholas Church, Baltimore, Maryland
 Saints Peter and Paul Church, Frederick, Maryland
The Greek Independence Day Parade will march through Baltimores Greektown and end at
Saint Nicholas Church on Sunday, March 21, 2010. Details will be sent in the near future.
The Greek Independence Day Parade Committee wholeheartedly invites all churches and all
organizations in the Mid-Atlantic region to join the committee and together we can begin
planning the celebration of Greek Independence Day. The next meeting will be held at the Saint
Demetrios Church, 2504 Cub Hill Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21234 on Thursday, December
10, 2009, at 7:00 P.M. Your participation in this event is sincerely appreciated.
Take 695 to exit 31B (Carney Exit) which is Harford Road.
Stay on Harford Road approximately 2 miles to Cub Hill Road.
Make a left on to Cub Hill Road.
Drive approximately 1 mile to Saint Demetrios Church.
