American Idols Constantine Maroulis Announces 2006 Summer Tour Dates

American Idols Constantine Maroulis Announces 2006 Summer Tour Dates

<>

All Ages Show Will Feature Highly Anticipated New Material From His Upcoming Album As Well As Fan Favorites!

June 26, 2006 (New York)- Constantine Maroulis has announced a series of summer tour dates in the Northeast that will feature new material from his upcoming release and various fan favorites.

Constantine has had a busy year since the end of his 2005 run on the nations most popular television shows, American Idol, and its sell-out stadium tour, which established him as one of the fan favorites of all time not placing in the top 2. The Original Rocker Idol from New York has been busy in the studio recording his solo debut since leaving his band this winter. The show will feature his own songs as well as songs written by Angie Aparo (best known for writing the hit single ?Cry? for Faith Hill), Jeff Buckley and Willie Nile, one of Bonos favorite writers.

Constantine, still one of the most solicited and talked about Idols of 2005 Season, is looking forward to hitting the road this summer.

?Its great to get back on the road solo and test out this new material that I have been wanting to share with my fans for so long. It has been a crazy and eye opening year of experiences, and I think the stuff I am working on right now reflect the journey I have gone on since Idol. Its hard not to want to rush and put something out immediately following Idol, but I really wanted to find the style and songs that suit me the best. To do that, you have to let the dust settle.?

The first segment of his national tour will focus on the northeastern United States with dates expected on the west coast in the fall.
